n’t ever want or need to go back to a commercial gym at all!
Great value for money and the quality absolutely surpasses many if not all others I’ve seen out there.
I bought the 214 cm high model as needed it to fit I a 12 x 10 shed. Nothing is lost with this but if I had the height I’d have gone for the 240cm.
Major Kudos to Paul too for processing & progressing all of the order, answering any questions quickly & ensuring things went as planned. Read LessRead less about The previous reviews given are clear -

on it
For functionality, it's got near everything you could want or need from a power rack, the smith machine is spot on - perfectRead more about review stating Incredible Rack - Best on the market knurling on the bar and it glides as smooth as you could want, same for the cables which are near silent in usage. The batwing bar as well has the perfect level of knurling, not too harsh that it rips into your hands but enough to keep a good grip. I also love the fact I can store the spotter arms and J-Cups on a rear crossmember without them getting in the way. Oh, and the latest ones come with an all-black nameplate with silver extreme logo, which looks slick and much better than the all silver one.
This is now the centre piece in my home gym and will see me through plenty of workouts for a long time to come, even though I'm excited for new attachments and accessories - I wonder what else on earth could come along for it!
Few points to keep in mind
1. It arrives in a massive box weighing around 500kg in total. Gravel driveways will not cope well as the loading trolley won't work on them. No idea how I'm going to get rid of the box!
2. Solo build is possible, and the instructions aren't super clear (writing is v small!) but took me around an afternoon to do it, a pair of clamps helps especially when fitting the cable holders running along the top crossmembers.
3. I wouldn't say 100% required, at least initially, but a silicone spray (available from amazon) will keep the guide rods on the weight stacks and smith machine running smooth and efficiently. I did plan on WD-40 but reading online, it can damage the rubber over time so stuck with silicone spray.
Finally a shout to Paul @ Extreme Fitness who was massively helpful in answering my many questions and keeping me updated on timescales and delivery of the rack - top customer service Read LessRead less about Sure there are similar functional

any commercial gym. As stated in other reviews the instructions are minimal and it took 2 of us 6 hours to build. Adding an instructional video on how to build on the website would massively help. The rack itself is easy to build but it gets trickier with the smith machine and cables. The price of the rack is very competitive with most other racks I was looking at coming in at over £1000 dearer and these only had up to 90kg weight stacks as well whereas this one is 120kg. Finally the service I received from Paul was excellent. The rack was delivered quickly (despite a few shipping delays) and all emails sent were responded to within 24 hours and most within an hour. Had a few bits of my order missing but these were quickly reposted out without any fuss. Overall very happy with my purchase and will not hesitate to order from Extreme Fitness again. ret the over complicated drawings. The drawings are too small and there are no zoomed in pictures on detailed areas. Putting in the actual smith machine was dangerous. There is no way you can build it as a separate unit and slide it in. It can go in as separates and then you can fix the barbell to it. Don't fix the barbell to the bracket first. Connect it once everything else is in situ. Believe me, you'll save yourself a whole heap of pain.
It's a shame because the instructions are really one on the cheapest aspects of the whole thing and it wouldn't take much to add some extra pages. Read LessRead less about Starting with the unit, it's

When I found this particular rack I was delighted as it ticked every box with a variety of great accessories too. Most racks like these are about 2. 3m plus so to have the 2. 18...Read MoreRead more about I had been looking for ages for a rack
m option for me was fantastic whilst still being cheaper than similar products on the market.
The overall quality of the rack is fantastic and feels like a commercial quality gym.
The instructions leave a little to be desired with very few steps, some more instructions around the sequencing of the cables and when to bolt certain parts on would be useful but I managed to make the whole thing by myself over the course of 3 days.
One thing that slightly differs from the video is the rear bar across the rack is on the bottom rather than half way up the rack in the instructions. This suited me due to being able to walk through the back to access bits and pieces. The modular nature also means you can put the weight holders on at either the side or back which is also very handy depending on the layout of your gym.
Im looking forward to getting some accessories for this to add in the future like maybe some spotter arms if they become available or a bar holder and accessory holder.
Overall I would highly recommend this item for anyone serious about making their own home gym and I'm very happy with all the items that I bought from Extreme fitness Read LessRead less about I had been looking for ages for a rack
